If Schiano is retained, and Sully gets the axe McNulty seems next in line, but personally I would prefer someone who commands a but more control, and someone a bit more aggressive. You won't find guys like Roman or Bevell or Hue Jackson making lateral moves, so who would be your choice? I honestly don't know, so if anyone has any targets please share.

You hire a 12 month stop-gap because if Schiano is retained, odds are this team finishes no better than 6-10 next year and the new GM will clean house.
the problem may be that the answer is McNulty, he may be good but he could be more of the same
If Sullivan is gone, it's going to be McNulty. That's who Schiano has wanted from the beginning.

Well that would explain why he "tinkers" with the offense when he really shouldn't be.
Well and since Sully runs what Rutgers wants one expects that McNulty is going to be sorta the same meal different chef sort of "change".
Well that was fruitless....I know McNulty is expected to take the spot, but the question was....if Schiano is retained who would you want as OC?
Dana Bible. In college, he's coached Matt Ryan, Russell Wilson, and Mike Glennon.
If Schiano is still HC then it might as well be Barney the **CENSORED**ing Dinosaur...

But steak and potatoes made by different chefs can be very different things. We aren't the only team in the league that has Schiano's old-school philosophy. You can have success with it if you do it right. Our current implementation is less than ideal, and our playcalling seems awful. And I say that as someone who hates the scheme and philosophy. If Schiano is back, it's a forgone conclusion that McNulty is the OC. I think that he won't be back though.

i hope you are right!
McNulty because we have no choice. Its who Schiano wants. Tampa Bay Scarlett Knights FTW
No big name would join a staff on the rocks in what in reality is a 1 year prove it or lose it deal. If Schiano gets a 3rd year, and does not improve, he won't get a fourth.
For a chance to coach a QB in the NFL he developed in college, Dana Bible just might...

Let me hope that it will actually make a difference. LET ME HOPE
