You don't spend any time evaluating a QB to draft in the first five rounds. I will be shocked if we draft a QB, particularly given the ragtime arms we have to choose from in this draft. Defense, Defense and more Defense. Maybe a WR and a TE.
Smh. When will fans learn that completion % is probably the most misleading stat in football.
When that same rookie QB leads one of the worst offenses in of the past 5 years it shows he's ineffective no matter how pretty his stats look.

I guess my point is, he was a rookie. His stats last year, given the weak talent available at QB in this May's draft, have earned him another year of evaluation.
Worst offense in football last year no.32 overall just in case u didn't know. But nah lets not change a thing. Makes perfect sense (facepalm)

What QB is an improvement over Glennon in this years draft???

Where do I start? Bridgewater, Manziel, Carr, Bortles and Mettenberger. I'd call Garoppolo, McCarron and Murray a push compared to Glennon. It's not like Glennon has a heads up on any FA or drafted QB with an entirely new system being installed.

Now your just displaying your lack off football knowledge. There isn't a franchise QB in this draft. We need other position help so much more.
As a rookie, Glennon showed to be middle of the pack... without a great supporting cast to help him. Outside of this fanbase, he is recognized to be ahead of schedule for a developing QB.Still, with only himself and Orlovsky (and lil Rodgers), they need another QB. My preference would be a free agent. Someone will shake loose.
http://www.sportingcharts.com/nfl/stats/quarterback-air-yards/2013/ Sort on % of Air Yards. (Being #1 isn't really a good thing)

Riiiiight. No possible way any of these guys couldn't be a franchise QB
Re: If Your Rookie QB Complete's 60% of His Passes
Glennon didn't

And I'm pretty sure if they happen to suck it up; this fanbase will give that QB more than 13 games without calling for his head.

It's really not that simple. QB is the most important position on the field. Glennon is not a franchise QB. He hasn't shown that he can be one. I have serious questions about his ability to hold up physically, his arm strength, his mobility, his decision making especially against pressure. Against pressure he doesn't get set quick enough and sometimes just can't seem to pull the trigger quickly enough. He stares down his primary target too much. He is not clutch. He struggles in the second half. Glennon could end up being a great QB but you can't bank on that and leave the cupboard bare. That's why I am supportive of drafting a QB early and bringing in a vet free agent as well. What if Glennon gets hurt? We rollin with Big O?

Not what I said at all
