I'll preface this by saying I'd rather trade down, but...Everyone is talking about trading down. Value is usually created by doing the opposite of the crowd... therefore, the cost of a trade up could be reduced this year. If we could get to #1 overall for this year's first and second, I'd do it in a heartbeat for Clowney. Sure (like everyone) he may flame out, but Clowney/Johnson could flip our pass rush from a weakness to a strength. Like others, I like to build front to back on both sides of the ball. According to the value chart, this isn't a feasible trade; nevertheless, it appears to be a buyer's market.I have no problem with Mack (who may be there at 7)... I just think Clowney is a natural 4-3, plays at another level, and has shown it consistently against top competition. The rest of my draft would be dominated by OL and receivers.
