Bridgewater, Bortles, Manziel, Carr... all gone in the Top 5, that is my dream.
I can't get on the bandwagon either, I like Manziel, I think he's a great NCAA QB, but I just don't see it transitioning to the NFL to where he can be a pro-bowl type player. I like Bridgewater, Bortles, Boyd, and Hundley as better NFL QBs than Manziel, I just can't get on the wagon either...That said, if our coaching staff feels he's the best player available and selects him, I'll support him as long as he's on this team.
That would be great, have us get the 2nd or 3rd best non-QB prospect at 7 would be huge.
I think he and Bridgewater are the best QBs to come out in a long time, even better than Luck and RG3 before the knee problem.
Wow
PUMP THE BRAKES!!!
Yea I thought that statement was Amazing.
youngone is about to roll over 10,000 posts.... get ready with the confetti!!!!!
But Manziel is special. His mobility, his accuracy, and his feel for the game are unmatched. Manziel is very good at avoiding the big hit.
I don't know man, he is a special college player, I'm just unsure if that same type of game will work long term. He does have great mobility but that isn't a huge plus for me. He does seem to be accurate although I don't buy your same feeling about it being unmatched. He might not take "the big hit" but I only saw him slide once in all his carries and even the smaller hits are going to get him hurt eventually. I think all those other things he does are great and helpful, but if and only if the QB is a pocket passer first and foremost. We all saw Jeff Garcia continuously miss the open receiver when running for an 8 yard gain. Looks great on TV but is actually a bad play if he gave up a chance at a 20 yard completion for a scramble. That's why I like Teddy so much, because he is clearly a pocket passer 1st!
Bridgewater is my favorite QB prospect I've ever looked at. The kid enamores me haha. I really wish we could get him.But I think Manziel is like Garcia but with better vision. Manziel didn't run nearly as much this year and seemed a lot more patient with the ball. I think, even if it's not great yet, it shows an improvement.
He did seem to be improved this year, which is a great sign for him developing.
You must be joking. Glennon better than manziel?People have lost their damn minds around here.
Glennon is a better NFL quarterback than Manziel is right now. Prove me wrong. =P

Nice...I didn't even notice... I'm sure they were 10,000 pearls of wisdom.
That is a lifetime of Buccaneers servitude right there.
Better make your 10,000th post a profound one.
I like cherry jello. And there it is, number 10,000.
