but, we really should have lost this game. It just goes to show you how valuable a kicker is. Brady is not right and he's mostly responsible for the sputtering on offense. Once again we come out the gate with Brady missing wide open receivers all over the place. Even the slightest pressure throws Brady off of his game. He rushes the throws because he panics. You'd think he'd be better at this at this stage of his career but, he's just not. Another thing that has bothered me lately is Tom's inability to find the open man when his initial read is covered. I've seen him throw into coverage many times when he had wide open guys right in front of him. The play calling is still bad in situations too, even the TD to Miller was a bad call. We had a 3rd and 4 and he's out there throwing 50 yard low percentage bombs. We needed to move the ball methodically down the field and give the defense a rest. They were out there nearly the entire first quarter. Bottom line is the offense must start games off better or we have no chance to go anywhere if we make the playoffs. Brady has made us a better football team because he, for the most part takes care of the football. He must start making better decisions though because he's been missing great opportunities on a regular basis. Tom may just bring us our first playoff appearance in many years so I can't complain too much. I just want him to play like he's capable.
