"needs 1 to 2 months" to decide.
Last season, 40 days was TOO LATE for players on the fence. Kappa, gone. Marpet, retire. Jensen was on his way out the door. Godwin?
Fast forward to THIS OFFSEASON:
Now, The Team has many decisions to make before Free Agency.
IMO, Brady is MOVING ON from the Bucs-- but wants to make it look like the Bucs are MOVING ON from him.
I originally thought it was 33.3% he’d return to Bucs, 33.3% he’d retire, and 33.3% he goes to other team
now I’d say 15% he returns, 35% he plays for another team and 50% he retires
ofcourse I’m pulling %s out of my ass but given how mediocre he played, the shit team and coaching around him, and the report of buc players saying he’s gone; yeah hard to imagine he returns unless a miracle happens
Lots of stuff leaking from credible sources that Tom was getting fed up with lack of attention to details, not organized, etc. from the coaching staff.
I don’t think shit canning clueless Lefty was enough.
Looking more and more like he’s gone.
What a way to waste the last season of Brady.
Smh…
Yeah to be clear I never thought Brady would come back with Bowles as head coach
my 15% is the ownership going all out for Sean Payton. Gronk coming back, upgrading left side of line.
also heard Rick stroud reporting that Brady’s parents were on the field and choked up after the game.
Could be brady realizing he’s lost a step as well and retirement most likely
I mean I heard raiders and dolphins. But he’s a wild card team on those teams, particularly if it’s 2022 brady
maybe he sees if a loaded team like niners have interest; other than that….really Tom….going out a .500 journeyman QB
Brady needs to call it a career and retire to the broadcast booth. He no longer fits into the NFL profile of a QB.
Brady is done , hopefully he realizes that
If Brady gets paired with an OC who has half a brain, he’s still got another good year in him physically.
If Brady gets paired with an OC who has half a brain, he’s still got another good year in him physically.
Needs two other things as well:
1. An O-line that can keep him clean.
2. His buddy Gronk.

Brady is probably leaving but don't conflate issues.
Cappa isn't that good, is overpaid and we won 4 post-season games without him, scoring 31+ each game.
Marpet quit football in high school, chose Hobart over D1 schools (he wasn't this this undiscovered star, he just didn't want to go those big programs) and people are surprised he retired after concussion issues.
Jensen is so over-rated on this board. He should have never been re-signed and if you want to watch something pathetic go watch the All-22 of the Cowboys game. WTF were they thinking benching Hainsey for him. I would say Jensen was our worst player but somehow #45 managed to be worse.
Longterm, I'd be interested in getting Dak Prescott (reworking his contract, where possible)...
stuff like this, JC, where do you get that, especially the part in BOLD?
Marpet quit football in high school, chose Hobart over D1 schools (he wasn't this this undiscovered star, he just didn't want to go those big programs) a
This was in the Rochester Dem & Chron -
"Marpet was a lightly recruited player in high school from Hastings-on-Hudson (south of Albany). He said the biggest schools who sought his football services — he was also a fine basketball player — were Holy Cross, Fordham and Marist. He visited Rochester and considered the Yellow Jackets, but ultimately chose Hobart."
Your ultimate point was that it shouldn't surprise anyone he retired over concussions. Agreed. He is a bright academically oriented guy but he BRIEFLY quit football in high school because he was pretty skinny and played basketball. He was right back playing though as he got bigger and he chose Hobart over a couple PATRIOT league schools? D1, uh yeah but hardly football schools
and he did actually get "discovered" some during his junior year but really at the Senior Bowl.
You portray him like a guy who could've played at Alabama but chose Hobart lol. He's from Westchester county
Per JBF
Still, through all the production issues, Brady and Leftwich appeared tight. Brady even said last month “I talk to Byron 100 times a day.”
And it’s that relationship that has a former Buccaneer and a friend of Leftwich thinking Leftwich and other Bucs offensive assistant coaches getting fired is a sign Brady isn’t coming back to Tampa.
Joe is referring to Michael Clayton, the retired Bucs and Giants blocking icon/receiver. He shared his Brady-Leftwich theories with WDAE Radio recently.
“I’m guesstimating [Brady] is more so leaning on the side of not being here, which made this coaching change and eliminating a lot of the offensive coaches easier to do,” Clayton said, adding that other teams with established systems and coaches in place likely would be more attractive to Brady.
Clayton also said Brady is likely to quit football because he won’t get a fat contract after a rough season that ended with a bad performance by him in the playoffs.
“That takes the money down,” Clayton said. “… He looks to be washed up at times.”
The Leftwich firing does conjure many thoughts. Did Brady ask for him to be fired? And/or did Brady approve the firing? The Bucs would have been insane not to consult with Brady on that decision.
I dont think he's done playing but is done with bucs. Thanks for the super bowl!

Jensen wasn't worth the resigning for 10M and on the hook for 2 years, him gage smith are the biggest cap eaters that aren't worth it. The shortsignted gamble didnt pay off

I know for a fact he had ACC and Big 10 offers.
