Created after the Official Board was shutdown with only a 3 day notice from the Buccaneers. So, the rejects from that board created their own little circle jerk board and called it the Unofficial Bucs Board.

As a black man it borderline offends me. I think the intentions are good but when you put a requirement on interviewing a minority candidate teams are more likely to set out to fulfill that requirement rather than actually give thought to the man they are interviewing. Skin color trumps qualifications with the Rooney rule.
If there is a racist owner that seriously believes a black man cannot be a great head coach, forcing him to interview a black man will not change anything. I never really got the purpose of the Rooney rule. Seems pointless, unnecessary, and offensive.

Blacks are overrepresented in football. Where are all the asians and indians? Teams should be forced to try out an indian or asian player instead of just handing it to the privileged black players.

Not that I agree with the rule, but you do realize the Rooney rule covers all minorities, and not just black candidates, right?

If you want your GM to have a college degree, then it narrows the black applicant pool to about 1.5% of the US population.
I dont mind a little arguing. Debate is healthy. But when you get past the screen name and start researching who people really are then i have problems. They do that because the majority of the people there dont know a thing about the game.Thanks for the heads up. If we ever cross paths I will be sure to ignore. Delt is a joke.

It was funny arguing with the Schiano nut huggers and seeing how mad they got once Schiano got fired. A lot of them are still angry about it.

RGS, I was gone the day before he got fired. But yes, you called that for the longest that he should/would get fired. Props to you, man. I can only imagine how many of them feel that Lovie Smith & Leslie Frazier got hired. I remember Lovie not being a real popular name around there when Schiano was still running the show. The racism is so obvious there and it stems from the top. The mods allow it. Says a ton about who they really are.
