The problem with that list is he's had to go back almost 50 years to Nameth just to find 10 guys and then a whole bunch of them showed enough potential in college that they went in the high 1st round, we have a guy who played bad (but had a nice stat line) who showed enough potential in college to be considered areach in round 3, slight difference. Also notice how the guys on that list are from 2005 or before, where's the guy who stuggled in the new flag football version of the NFL, since the rule changes and offenses have been running roughshod over defenses? If you don't/can't show you have IT right away with the new rules ("Tackling an offensive player, #52, 15 yard penalty & automatic first down. #52 is also ejected from the game!") the chances are insanely high that you simply don't have IT.
Here you go pumpkin -Mike Glennon vs. rookies/1st year in league from 1998-2013 with at least 10 games started -QBR: Glennon ranked 6th
YPG: Glennon ranked 13th
Completion%: Glennon ranked 10th
Touchdowns: Glennon ranked 7th
Boom !!!!Wow .....this post pretty much destroys all the haters . Really puts Glennon's rookie year into perspective. We need to give the kid another season.

According to this guy those stats are not concrete and somehow will magically change.
Those stats aren't "concrete". He is lucky he played in the era when you can't hit QB's or WR's. The ONLY defense for Glennon is that he was stuck with Schiano as his coach.

It really doesnt destroy their argument. They werent using stats to begin with. Their "eyeballs" are just better than ours.
Well I live in an underground bunker below Tom Brady's house. Plus I have five rental properties in Florida, not three. So I really know I'm talking about. And I say Glennon will get his chance to show us what he's made of.
;D :) ;D ;D :) I was reading all that stuff this "TakeThat" guy was posting about rentals/ salary/ raises, and thinking what does this all have to do with how Mike Glennon will turn out as an NFL QB. I'm still waiting for that guy to give supporting reasons as to why Mike will fail. He seems to put down everyone's points for possible success, but fails to support his opinion.
If you want to be slapped down just ask. Glennon sure looks like a Charlie Batch if you want to look at the stats as most people do. As has been said before you can find stats to prove or disprove almost any stance with players in the NFL. Cherry picking is great but people need to leave that for real life not a debate on the internet.
Those stats don't even make sense. Glennon's QB rating was 83.9 and he is magically not apart of that list. Hmm how strange. How about you take a look at the real stats I posted above, smart guy.
Your stats are good but mine aren't? How convenient! I love how that works. Care to link where you got the stats from? Mine come from www.sportingcharts.com which is a reputable site. Too funny I expected as much though. Cherry pickers normally use that defense. :p

Because your stats magically removed certain players........ Here you go, genius - http://goo.gl/tHkz3O
It didn't magically remove anyone except your wind. They aren't MY stats either. I'm not involved in the stats process so I have no power to make them contrary to popular beliefs. http://www.sportingcharts.com/articles/nfl/top-20-rookie-passing-seasons-of-last-20-years.aspx

I know it's tough as hell to insert 1 person into the list on your own based on facts. The damn instant gratification generation at work. Can't do anything by themselves! We'd doomed when you guys take over the government. Do you need your smartphone to breathe for you too? Does it tell you when to take a **CENSORED** with a probe shoved up your six?

Wow dude, you used a list made before Glennon played a game? Totally impartial....LOL

I mean really how stupid do you feel comparing Glennon to Batch? Glennon had a better QB rating than Dalton, Flacco, Garcia, Manuel, Palmer, Bradford, Tannehill, Luck, Manning, Stafford, and Batch. He was also on par with Newton and Ryan. It's not cherrying picking stats. You are talking about Glennon as a rookie so guess what? Rookie stats will get brought up as they should be. There is nothing cherry picking about that. You're just butthurt because the stats make you look stupid.

The stats are the stats either way. I know it's tough to figure it out without someone doing the work for you. Try figuring it out for yourself for once. Sure it's easier to ignore it since the work isn't done for you but you'll always be a 9-5er doing that. :P

I gave you a completely up to date list that proves you wrong and you go on some old dirtbag rant about my generation? LOL.

The stats are the stats. Nothing can make me look butthurt. I'm not the stats and they have no impact on me directly but keep trolling. Eventually you'll get someone to bite! One sided debates are great for this type of thing so someone else will be along for you to try that on. :)

Actually I wanted to see if you'd bite and confirm my thoughts. Subterfuge is a lost art these days. Thanks! :) (Feel free to Google that word) FYI: How's the handle name change working out for you? Too much heat with the old one?

Really? I'd expect more from you then a shallow troll. If you want attention there is better ways. Post more of those cherry picked stats. You'll get all the attention you want for whatever that's worth. At the end of the day all these types of discussions can be is entertainment and whether good or bad that's a great way to pass time at work. :)
