Do people not seem to understand 1. This QB draft class is weak as hell and 2. Even with a new QB, we still have the 4th best QB in the division. Get the kid some blocking and a sammich.
He's not up to the task. You can dress it up anyway you want but it's still going to sink the ship.
Not trying to dress it up. I dont think Glennon is the man either, but it doesnt matter who you have at QB if you cant block anyone. Also, what ship do you think we have that isnt already sunk? Its not like we handed the kid the reins to a contender and are worried he cant take us to the promised land.
His 'best' just isn't going to get us where we want to go. If the ship is already sunk he's done as there's no way he can fix it even with serious help.
Imagine how dire the situation would be had they not drafted Glennon.

So your answer is to draft another wannabe in the 1st I am guessing? Sounds like a great plan...except for the whole wasting a 1st and a 3rd round pick in back to back years and not fixing anything. This isnt rocket science. Add a pass rusher, slot wr, some OL pieces this year and then go after a QB next year when the options are better.

We just went 4-12 and had the #32 offense. How can it get worse?

Maybe the options at the top of the draft next year will be better, but the Bucs already have a good defense and just tremendously upgraded their coaching. They're probably going to go 7-9 or 8-8 and be picking between #14-18. Jameis Winston and a few of the others will already be wearing other teams' hats by then.

2006 ... 2009 ... 2011, just to name a few...

Yeah but we wouldn't have Beeker
This is how low the our beloved franchise has fallen. We have fans sticking up for..... Mike Glennon. Who was chosen by an awful head coach who's talent evaluation has proven to be sub par.Ugh.

It can't be worst then last place in offense. Name any year you want but there is no way to be worse.

Make no mistake about it...I am not sticking up for Glennon. Im speaking about a reasonable approach to fixing the problem. Glennon is likely not the man, but Im sitting here reading comments of people hating on Glennon after one year who thought Freeman was the answer after 3 years and trying not to bang my head on the desk. Its just funny to see people write a guy off after 1 year into his career. If those jack wagons were in charge we would have traded McCoy years ago. How good at your job were all of you in your first year out of college? Ok thats what I thought. How about we wait and see? Some of you guys act like we are a QB away from a super bowl...hate to be the bearer of bad news, we have bigger problems.

That awful head coach left some good young talent on the roster too tho.

I don't care where other teams rank. This was a snakebit season. There have been 19 seasons where the Bucs have scored fewer points... 21 if you count 14 game seasons.

Its so awesome that you know what Glennon's "best" is going to be. So many players fall off the cliff after their rookie year and never get any better.
He says Mike is the 4th best QB in the division and the Bucs deserve better.
The Bucs as a whole sucked. Glennon's personal stats were pretty impressive for a rookie on a sucky team , however.
