Glennon could be the next Joe Flacco who was good enough to get his team by.

Flacco played amazing in the playoffs last year. He was much, much, much better than "good enough".

Then pretty much sucked balls all year again. He Freeman-ed the **CENSORED** out of the Ravens. Played an amazing 4 game stretch and earned a huge payday, then sucked balls.

Yup. All I'm saying is that Glennon could be a guy who is good enough if we build a really good team around him. To get a Tom Brady or Peyton Manning is really hard. Your never really ever guaranteed that guy. I don't see any of the QBs this year having that sort of impact so it's not really worth trading up for any of them. Let one of them slide to us and if we think he can be great take him. But I'm not willing to trade any picks we have that could help our team in the long run for a guy who has all kinds of questions surrounding him.

Nope! Just like you hand picked info to make a point as invalid as it is we can cherry pick info to disprove you too. Not worth the time though.

You cant disprove it jack wagon.  The point was a bad first year doesnt mean anything but a bad first year.  You dont have either an upward trend or a downward trend until you...have a second year.  But apparently to you  "not worth the time" = I have no argument.

ANyone can cherry pick stats to make a point in any direction they want jack wagon. You didn't have a valid point only the point you created to look good. If you want to feel warm and fuzzy start a fire not a war. :p Keep going I've got 30 minutes left before my day is done and this is very entertaining.

Wow you truly are stupid. That isn't cherry picking. The argument was QB's usually don't do good their first year, so unless they look awful it's shortsighted to say they are a franchise QB or not. He brought up stats based on the argument. That's not called cherry picking, it's called throwing facts in your face and it getting you butthurt because it doesn't prove your point..

I hate it when we draft guys in the 3rd round who end up being the best rookie at their position in the league.

I believe I read that he did, but didnt make the finalist list.  I believe the vote is made up of 50 members of the AP.  Not that I think he deserved to be in the conversation, but the AP is notorious in CFB for voting more accordingly to who gets more publicity.  They dont watch a lot of game tape and decide.

In all fairness, everyone has said the 2013 QB rookie class was the worst in a very long time. Glennon still has a long way to go to being a playoff QB. Plus we have to really understand the time when those other guys were rookies. You can fall ass backwards into a 3500 yard season nowadays. Glennon is still in the lower 10 of starting QB's in the league.

I will also say, Glennon has 2-3 really good NFL QB plays in a game but he has another 5-10 where he completely missed guys running NFL open.

Well I live in an underground bunker below Tom Brady's house. Plus I have five rental properties in Florida, not three. So I really know I'm talking about. And I say Glennon will get his chance to show us what he's made of.

He was never in consideration for that.

;D :) ;D ;D :) I was reading all that stuff this "TakeThat" guy was posting about rentals/ salary/ raises, and thinking what does this all have to do with how Mike Glennon will turn out as an NFL QB. I'm still waiting for that guy to give supporting reasons as to why Mike will fail. He seems to put down everyone's points for possible success, but fails to support his opinion.

The problem with that list is he's had to go back almost 50 years to Nameth just to find 10 guys and then a whole bunch of them showed enough potential in college that they went in the high 1st round, we have a guy who played bad (but had a nice stat line) who showed enough potential in college to be considered areach in round 3, slight difference. Also notice how the guys on that list are from 2005 or before, where's the guy who stuggled in the new flag football version of the NFL, since the rule changes and offenses have been running roughshod over defenses? If you don't/can't show you have IT right away with the new rules ("Tackling an offensive player, #52, 15 yard penalty & automatic first down. #52 is also ejected from the game!") the chances are insanely high that you simply don't have IT.
