Concerned about Goedeke, Kancey, Egbuka, Baker specifically
Hope Wirfs is back, but no update on that.
if Goedeke misses time and we dont have Wirfs back, we are in trouble. It was a miracle that we won last night after he went down.
Baker was able to finish the game so you'd think he'd be alright.
Kancey appears a bit injury prone and is good to miss 4 games a year, so better it happens now then at the end of the year.

yeah it didn't look good. Looks like we got the "Joe Burrow" of defensive lineman. Not looking good for a second contract with the team.

the defense has played surprisingly well the last 2 weeks. Feel like they were major reason in us winning the last 2 weeks. There weren't many times you could say that last year.

bredesen has played well at center. Same with Jordan at lg. will he interesting.
Jets game is winnable. Despite the injuries we are incurring, the bright side is that the weakest part of the defense for YEARS, actually looks like the strongest. The secondary as a group is playing lights out. Winfield, Smith, Parrish, and Zyon are playing good ball from the naked eye test. Not sure what PFF ratings say but, through 2 games I've seen nothing but plays being made. Dean has been decent and that's what we're going to need to be a good group.
Going to take another gutsy effort Sunday to win as the Jets will be desperate to not start 0-3. This is definitely a game I'd fade betting on the Bucs winning based on what's at stake for the other team. Anyone remember that Broncos game last year? Facing 0-3 start they came to Ray Jay and punched us right in the mouth and we never matched them after an emotional week 2 win v DET.
If Kancey is done for the year then we need to look at signing Wilkins.
Most of the injured players will be back IMO but Bowles will give them extra rest. Exception of Kancey who might need extra time.
@bucman if Wilkins is taking his training seriously again, like he did in Miami before he got paid, this would actually be an upgrade.

If this were the case, I’d actually leave Barton at LT and put Wirfs back to RT.

Kancey is a bust. Time to get over it. He can't stay healthy and he struggles vs stout interior lines. He's undersized and a situational player. Our backups came in and did more. Signing Wilkins would be a huge upgrade so long as he isn't giving BJs in the shower.
Goedeke might miss one week but probably not 2 imo.
The secondary isn't playing lights out but it's certainly improved and I'll take that all day.

Blitzes from Bowles got home late so kudos to him but let's get real about a few things. That is a shit offensive line and we couldn't generate pressure with 4. Bowles blitzes got lit up for most of the game but he found paydirt late which is great... And this team is playing best when it matters most... Gotta love that.
Diaby is not an NFL edge RUSHER but he's a good rotational guy and can play the run. Vea is a run stuffer. Reddick is good but can't do it alone. So where does the pressure come from all season? Sure as shit isn't coming from Braswell or Hall.

As already mentioned, he’s undersized and gets dominated by bigger interior lines.
Has a sub-.50 defensive grade (PFF) every season (49.7, 46.0, and 43.4).
And, the guy can’t stay out of the tub.
Time to move on and start thinking of his replacement. No way in hell am I exercising his 5th year option.
