Biggs chugs over 30 cocks by Thanksgiving… -110
It’s weird…
At this point I'm really not a fan of playing any starters in preseason games
Understood, but it is a new OC with a different style. It's good for guys to have some game experience with him before the live bullets start flying.
And McMillian is in year two. It's not like he's Evans or Godwin. I didn't have an issue with him playing. I'm not sure he needed to leave his feet for the catch, but it would have been nice if TB had got the ball down.
It's a risk reward analysis. I see your point... But it's the same system.
I just don't see the value vs the reward. Let the fringe players battle.
It's also fine with me for them to play 1 maybe 2 series then sit.
@chadrico absolutely. I’ve seen so many scary things in just about every sport. Football one of the worst. Up there with boxing and mma.
great former ESPN show(early 2000s?) called Playmakers. Banned by the NFL as far as I’m aware but the entire first & only season is available on YouTube. Watched it again recently great show. Follows players on and off the field. Quite accurately I imagine.
concussions? Cte? League still is in denial.
as much as I love football fantasy college pro high school recruiting video games(especially ecstatic college football is back) if I ever had a son I’d be very hesitant about letting him play. Is it worth it? For very few, life changing Money for yourself and hopefully future generations of your family.
At the same time being a defensive player now days? Can’t hit the qb low. Can’t hit the qb high. Can’t land on the qb. Can you imagine someone like Lawrence Taylor in today’s game? He’d be banned lol.
sorry to rant but yeah glad he’s okay! Can’t wait for him to be back. Glad we drafted egbuka if we get our receivers all healthy good luck to any defense we play!
Nevermind found it. Great news
Just read no PUP for Wirfs either. Great news
Good news.
But, I wouldn’t expect to see him until Week 5-6, and on a strict snap count.
Hope this isn’t being rushed because of Jalen’s injury.
Looks like we’ll get him back sometime around the same time as JMac.
A rotation at W3?
My preference, without context of down/distance: Shep/Trey/Rak.
Realistically, TE will likely get more targets until we get CG and/or JMac, back.

I have no interest in seeing much of those 3... Especially Shep. Would rather see 2 TE or Miller or Tez

I agree. I think they should use more 2 TE sets to help out LT until Wirfs returns.
I left them out because, depending on the preseason games, Miller & Tez (or Palmer or Rak) could end up on PS, and may not be part of the 53 man roster. Substitute either of your preferences for Palmer or Rak.Looks like we’ll get him back sometime around the same time as JMac.

The word from camp and the preseason has been that Shepard has looked good, has experience in, and knows, the offense. However, he’s 32 & plays hard, so over time he’ll get dinged up. I’m thinking he is likely WR3 until one of the other two remaining shows enough to take over.
I like Tez, and believe he will make the 53 based on his PR ability, so I’d go with your choice. Bowles specifically mentioned Miller’s consistency and reliability, so he likely makes the PS, or the 53.
I believe (today) that the only thing keeping Palmer in consideration is his speed, which he hasn’t actually been able to take advantage of, consistently.
I’m not thrilled with Palmer, nor Rak (maybe Rak has surprised more often than Palmer), but these two have the most game/system experience. That’s why I have them listed.
Hoping Tez can show out, positively, tomorrow, and win a roster spot.
Mahomes played 3 series
injuries suck but they are part of football
