Good competition for Glennon.
I wouldn't be totally against it, offense would be fun to watch
Even if he was the stater week 1, Glennon would be the starter by week 6 due to injury. Why bother?
Nick Foles isn't that good and he put up video game numbers in an offense that Vick was pretty mediocre at best in. Vick is garbage.Though this would make the Bucs insanely fun to play with in Madden.
Finally
I'd sign him after the draft if the bucks don't pick a QB reasonably high. If the goal of a backup is someone who could potentially win you 2-3 games in a stretch where your starter goes down, you're not going to find many better than Vick.
This will be a very interesting off-season and if I'm Glennon, I'd practice holding a clipboard.........these guys aren't willing to ride it out with him as the starter by looks of it.For the record, I don't think this is anything more than speculation by Schefter because Bucs have the need, cap room and "speed in space" philosphy that dictates this to be logical....otherwise I think the eventual starter comes out of the draft.
Damn man. I saw this one coming a few months ago. Yo, I could see the jets outbidding us for the dog killer though.
Once again, Detroit (win there in Nov) is costing us big time on Draft Day!#3 vs. #7 pick
Please no.
Once again, Detroit (win there in Nov) is costing us big time on Draft Day!#3 vs. #7 pick
Sigh......
Once again, Detroit (win there in Nov) is costing us big time on Draft Day!#3 vs. #7 pick
I think that win is going to ultimately save us.
Man, it would be hard giving up cheering for the Bucs.
Does Vick even have speed in space in space anymore? Plus his accuracy always has been poor. Not sure he is the best option. Plus there is the injury worry.
That would me serious question the sanity of lovie smith
If we're picking up any veteran QB with no chance of starting in 2 years then it should be Josh McCown. At least he could be a game manager while teaching our young QBs. Vick would just be turnover prone and get injured.
