Sorry for new thread but Redboard ate my post and wont allow me to paste in the Leveon Bell thread.. thats where this is mean to be but since I wrote it i may as well make it process somehow..
"I would normally be right with all these "hell no comments", and i still may be... but lets point out something crazy here.. The bucs just beat the Saints and the Eagles both are strong playoff caliber teams and rated top 10 teams by all power rankings. If we beat the Stealers that 3 very talented teams in a row.. Bucs would be high odds of going to the playoffs and possibly as a top 3 offense in the NFL. a playoff team with a top rated offense and a playcaller whos on fire is a superbowl hopeful team...tell me how im wrong there. Adding a RB whos a surefire 1000+ yard rusher as well as 500+ yard receiver.. thats a major upgrade likely pushing the Bucs the number 1 offense in the NFL. Yes the cost is huge but that begs the question.. is anycost too big if it results in an actual Superbowl ring?
Brees and Peyton have one SB ring to their name.. thats how hard these things are to come by.. I kinda think evidence and history shows that there should be no cost too high if it results in the ultimate prize of a SB championship.. if you win the SB but the tradeoff was you lost some key pieces for future sustained success, i think that trade is is probably worth it ESPECIALLY when you have a young franchise QB like Winston. Contrarian to the popular opinion on this board, I actually think the Bucs are one of few teams where getting Leveon Bell may make sense and pay off."
