If he's NOT the top guy on our board to be taken at #7, this would seem to be an almost certain opportunity to trade down. I'd be asking for a #1 AND a #2. HOWEVER, he is in my mind the hardest guy to pass up. And Cullen would go absolutely NUTS....

Any team who is picking with clowney on the board should either take him or trade the pick to a team who truly covets him, of which there will be no shortage on draft day. So agreed, a no brainer

If he is there at 5 I could easily see us trading with Oakland to leapfrog Atlanta to take him. We take Clowney at 5 and at 7 Oakland can take either Carr/Watkins. I think Jacksonville is a wildcard for Clowney though, with their HC being a defensive mind from Seattle who knows how important a pass rush is, than they take a Qb in the 2nd or trade that pick for someone like Cousins or Mallet.

The Jags owner said yesterday, its definitely a QB in the first for them.

I would love to have him, and roll with Glennon one more season.  But I have a hard time seeing him there at #7, and I wouldn't trade up for him. So, we will have to see how it all plays out. Only 3 more months of hype, speculation and smoke screens.
