So when I use the term "Fitzmagic" I'm not referring to sustaining the current level of play (that would be insane), but more or less, the idea of Fitzy being able to sustain a level of play where he finishes with around between 28-35 TDs (top 5 QB numbers last year) and 4000 to 4500 yards (numbers that also would have placed you in the top 5 last year).

Reasons why not:

- He's old and has been a back up most of his career
- He has shown himself to be a streaky QB most of his career
- Honestly, I can't think of any more reasons, but I'm sure someone here can.

Reasons why Fitzmagic can continue (biased because I believe it can)

- This offensive line is real. To me this is the biggest reason. We faced a real test against a healthy Eagles defensive line and held up outside of a Cox sack.
- I'm not taking anything away from his ability, he is playing out of his mind, but he is not being asked to attempt difficult throws. His deep ball placement has been great, but many big plays have simply come from out guys being bigger (Evans/Howard), faster (DeSean on streaks/Howard being a freak), or stronger (Godwin, Evans, and Howard at times). Fitz is simply using his veteran/Harvard brain to hit open guys. He deserves credit, but like another poster put his, he's simply a point guard distributing, and doing a damn good job.
- An older QB having a renaissance is not something unheard of. Carson Palmer did it a few years ago. Vick did it with the Eagles. Farve had a good year with the Vikings. It's not like it has not happened before.
