Again, I will direct you to our offense. If the McCoy, David, and Revis could play offense, we might be in business. The Anti-Schiano crowd acting like we should be 13-0 at this point because of the "talent" we have on the team is ridiculous.
We were 0-6 before Mike Williams and Doug Martin went on IR. With them on the roster, the offense has a good amount of talent.
And we were battling Freeman and MRSA controversies still at that point.

With 3 guys playing at an All Pro level, I'd sure hope that the defense is playing pretty well. Unfortunately, our defense doesn't even crack the top 10.
And how much that is because of the piss poor play of the offense much of the season? Not to mention that a some of those guys playing at an elevated level are young guys that still make mistakes (David, Barron, Banks)

Well, they are 8th vs the run and #1 in takeaways and #12 overall, (as per ESPN), not bad considering the horrible start to the season.
So, we'll be in the NFCCG next year with Schiano at head coach.

VJ, Williams, Martin, a solid(not great) O-line on paper......even after the injuries the RBs have been good most games and the dropoff hasnt been huge. Scheme/system, playcalling, game management issues, and failure to utilize players on both sides of the ball. Schiano has had a fairly talent laden team with only a few holes on both sides of the ball.
He means the talent Schiano brought in, he just doesn't want to phrase it that way.
What talent would that be? Because I'm pretty sure that Mark Dominick had far more to do with it than Schiano, except for all those Rutgers fellas.
Remember when Schiano ran Martin up the gut into 8 and 9 man boxes 30+ times a game at the beginning of the season? Then had Glennon throw 50 times a game for awhile? That wasn't his fault. That was because of Josh Freeman and MRSA and Raheem Morris and....yeah....lolz.
Remember when we looked like an uncoached high school team in preseason and everyone said "oh it's just preseason. It doesn't matter!" but then we started the season and continued to look completely lost. That was pretty awful.....but we beat 4 bad teams to go 4-9.....so it's all good now.
Remember when we couldn't make half time adjustments and got outcoached in the 2nd half of every game? Oh wait....oh yeah....that still happens every week.
Josh Freeman and MRSA caused the Buccaneer defense to lapse and the Buccaneer offense to completely disappear in almost every game this season. As long as Josh Freeman and MRSA exist, nothing will be the fault of any Buccaneer coaching staff from this season on.
Remember when we had a player say after the first Panthers game that we weren't prepared.....and then had a different player say we weren't prepared after the second Panthers game? I do.
Remember when Schinao got all red faced and yelled a lot and had spit coming out of his mouth....but didn't really say anything inspiring or special.....and everyone pretended he had giving some epic post game speech?

Haven't you heard? Everything you mentioned was either Josh Freeman's, Mark Dominik's, MRSA, injuries or the fans fault. Schiano is never to blame.
