Or is Todd "Toilet" Bowles refusing to take accountability for the downfall of this squad?
He's the guy that schemes the porous defense and calls the plays on D, yet all I see are comments about the subpar play of the offense.
Granted, Kancey has been out on defense, but one must keep in mind the losses on the offensive side of the ball. Evans and McMillian missing significant time. losses on the O-line, and a QB gutting it out through nagging injuries himself.
I believe it boils down to the fact that, while many players seem to "like" Bowles, he is not a great leader of men. I'm not a Chiefs fan, but do live in Chiefs country, and one thing I can tell you about Andy Reid.....when KC plays well, he ALWAYS gives credit to his players and coaches....not himself. When they play poorly (2025) HE accepts ALL of the blame.....and that is how HC's gain respect from their players.
Buc players might LIKE Bowles, but I wonder if they truly respect him.
There's nothing a coach can say to help himself look better when the team loses 7 of 8. They can say everything perfectly or terribly. It doesn't matter a hill of beans. It's all going to come out as the wrong thing to say because there is no right thing to say.Or is Todd "Toilet" Bowles refusing to take accountability for the downfall of this squad?

Do the players respect him? Like him? Again - it matters not. These are his players. Handpicked. They aren't winning. It's on the coach. The new coach needs to sort out the issues with the players.
Bowles has failed upward for 4 season and it finally caught up.
It's really that simple
