U mad , bro. Why u mad tho ?You carrying bad vibes over from that other ghost town of a message board ?
Greg HardyRobert QuinnLavonte DavidRichard ShermanEarl ThomasNavarro BowmanGerald McCoyList goes on with defensive players that were better than Luke this year. Absolute joke of an award.
Count me in the group that considers Kuechly a fine player who I would be happy to have on the Bucs .... but who just isn't feeling him as dpoy. If that makes me a horrible, biased fan, so be it.
I'd say yes. Kuechly is a good player, but it a disgrace he won this award.People who definitely should have won it over Kuechly:Robert QuinnLavonte DavidEarl ThomasJJ WattRobert MathisNavarro BowmanProbably am missing a few more.
Kuechly is very good, but not DPOY good. He gets picked on in pass coverage. He benefited from a good team, but Bowman is an all around better player at the same position. I think David is a better player as well, and he statistically had a better season that Kuechley, but single-handedly costing us the game vs. the Jets was going to preclude him from even being considered. Being on a bad team hurts. I think that also hurt Watt. Mathis and Quinn had very impressive years as well, as did Thomas and Sherman. Again, Kuechley is a very good player. But he wasn't the best defensive player in the entire league.
Funny how the Kuechly Crew don't want us comparing linebackers , lol . David is better , they mad...
Don't have a problem comparing LBs. The problem was picking Barron instead of Kuechly. Can you imagine what this defense would be like with David/ Kuechly/ Foster? It would've been ready made for Lovie & Leslie.David would've been a better candidate for DPOY. As far as David being a Mike full time? C'mon man, he plays at 220-225lbs -been tellin' you ladies that for years. Give me a break. Will is his natural spot. Can he play Mike? Sure, but I think it would be a mistake to move him.
