Because if we run the same two coverages over and over, being predictable and not blitzing ever, then this team is going to suffer. You cannot give the opposing coaches time to scheme on the same coverages over and over. I would almost think Greg Schiano (man he was awful), is a better defensive mind than Smitty is.
Point is, he needs to get creative and not sit on his hands week in and out.
