Is this a repeat of the 2006 season? Complacency set in?

Granted the Bucs were a good team in 2005 and way better than the 2015 team. But is obvious with how the off season was approached this year how it parallels previous seasons, especially the 2006 off season?

Bucs did very little in free agency to address their needs. And in the draft they ignored glaring needs.

If you don't like the comparison look back to Dominik era where the Bucs were complacent an identified punter as their #1 focus ignoring glaring problems (eg OL).

Did Licht over estimate the talent on the team like Dominik did and was too complacent in free agency?

And if free agency isn't; the answer why didn't Lich stockpile more draft picks? And why trade up? And why trade draft picks away for marginal talent? Trading Wright away for a kicker was a bad move. Trading up to draft a kicker is a greater sin in my eyes.

Biggest irony of all is the best free agent pick up is Anger, and he wasn't even the #1 target by a long shot.
