I do like his fiery demeanor. Very Drew Brees/Phillip Rivers-esque in that department. I'll trust Mike Mayock to tell me if he's worthy. He puts a lot more work into this stuff than I do or anyone else here for that matter and he's usually right.
If that's the case it will be for a team that plugs him in at undertake. He would never be considered a top3 tackle eating doubles for McCoy all day.I know you get over emotional with your man crushes every year , but try a little rationality for once. Much bigger needs than nose tackle.
You don't pass up Warren Sapp because you already have a UT. That kid is a top 5 players in this draft. You take him and figure out a way to use him.Anyways, back on topic.....Carr sucks.
Is anyone really arguing that he doesn't have a good arm? To me the system is definitely designed to cover up his flaws, but those are less about throwing deep and more about throwing quickly to disguise his poor pocket presence and lack of experience making multiple reads. These flaws may or may not be fixable at the next level.
He is warren Sapp now ?L-O-freaking LThis is why , try as I might , I can never take you seriously , Jdud .
Carr can't handle pressure. He is a dink and dunk QB that looks solid when everything is perfect but as soon as something goes wrong he folds like a cheap lawn chair. Sounds like someone else.....

Carr isn't considered a dink and dunk QB.As for his mechanics under pressure they break down but he is still able to make throws due to his arm strength and nimble feet outside of the pocket.
Folding against Mountain West pressure is a little worse than doing so with the Kraken bearing down on you .
His feet really arent all that nimble. Slightly more so than Glennon , but that isn't y saying much.
His mobility is not much more than Glennon's. It's not a positive.

Carr needs help with his mechanics but a lot of QB's do. What you want to see is if he can make plays despite the mechanical break downs and he does.

I agree totally that Carr is a dink and dunk QB. Maybe he can be way more but the fact is thats what he did in college. I dont understand how you think his mobility isnt much better than Glennons though. Carr can be pretty shifty. It doesnt matter anyone, because Jimmy Garoppolo is the chosen one
Carr will never start in the NFL. Not unless the 2nd string goes down with an injury. This drivel about him being something great is ridiculous. Let's please focus on other positions. That's how we will get better quicker. Glennon can play in the league and until falls below 60 percent completion percentage I say we give him a shot.
I see Carr as another Alex Smith.Similar skillsets. They will both suck in the wrong system yet thrive under the right one. I think we run the right system for Carr to succeed,

It's not very hard to stay above 60% completion percentage when you're the Captain Checkdown of the NFL. Glennon ranked dead last out of all qualifying QB's in YPA. That's right, he was the 37th ranked QB out of 32 teams. That screams Franchise QB?Source: http://espn.go.com/nfl/statistics/player/_/stat/passing/sort/yardsPerPassAttempt/seasontype/2

This is total crap. Sorry, just wrong. He is a lot more mobile and his ability to thrown on the run was noted several times this week. He's not a runner in the Cam sense but he has Rodgers level mobility. In other words, more than good enough.
