You mean the naked boot where it takes him about two hours to run 10 yards and then he has to dive because he gave the entire defense time to converge on him ?? Yeah that was super impressive. Just curious, are you obsessed with running QB's? How do you feel about Pryor from Oakland? Is he your cup of tea? Aren't QB's supposed to pass and running backs run? If you look for pure passing skills and arm talent, Carr is way ahead of the field. If you disagree show me another QB in the draft that can match him throw for throw. Sure he struggles with pressure but every QB does. It's not like QB's are pressured every play. Also for people saying he throws to the first read too much, duh.... if your first read is open you throw it, that's why it's your first read. The whole point is to get rid of the ball quickly. I guess Peyton Manning throws to his first read too much, isn't mobile and can't play under center in a Pro Style offense. According to Adam Caplan of ESPN, @caplannfl says Derek Carr is the best quarterback in the upcoming NFL Draft.
I actually value a good pocket passer. I just laugh at people who try and tell me that Carr's mobility is going to be some sort of huge asset for him on the next level.He of the 190 career rushing guards against Mountain West defenses.Carr doesn't escape pressure on the reg. He's much more inclined to just panic and throw off his back foot. He does it all the time.
