Wow Freeman might be out of the league soon. The word is out on that guy. Damn shame but he only has himself to blame.
Out of a job but the later won't be known until Aug or Sept. No idea why people keep harping on the guy. Tampa has moved on but the fans never will. :p
Crazy that fans will talk about the history of their franchise, right?Next thing you know we'll start talking about that Warren Sapp guy, and Tim Wansley, and Spurlock, and Bryant, and Brooks, and Dexter Jackson II, and...
Its all about 5.......5 wasted years of nothingness.
The headline is incorrect. It should read, "It's looking like the NFL will be moving on from Josh Freeman"

LOL
I'm expecting a "30 for 30" film to be in production soon about how the evil Schiano destroyed the promising career of a talented, dedicated, high-character, young QB.
Wouldn't be surprised if Cleveland takes a look at him. Other than them though, I don't see another team considering him.
I think possibly the Raiders could take a look. There could be a market for him as a backup as well.

Because the Bucs are one of the few franchises that could have fudged this up.
We cut his sorry *ss right? How did we fudge up?
Other than drafting him and wasting 4+ years, I'm not sure what else could be considered "fudged up"

Well played.
He will bounce around the league as a clip board holder for several years. Not a bad gig, pays well, and you never have to even wash your uniform.

I'm not sure how well clipboard holding would work for him. When the national media catches him violating the clipboard hole, obviously tripping on molley, he'll be done.

LOLOne funny thing about the NFL drug testing program is, they only test once a year for marijuana, and announse ahead of time when that test will take place. Its a different story with the other type of banned substances though.

He was not given the opportunity to succeed here. Revolving door of head coaches, coordinators, position coaches. The only year he didn't have a bottom 5 defense they won 10 games and he only threw 6 INTs. And that defense was just average, #16. His peers get top 5 defenses, win 11-12 games and are labeled franchise QBs. This is proven by the team losing 17 consecutive games he didn't start and the team only going 9-7 when he had stretches of MVP caliber play. Whatever his issues were (drugs, alcohol, depression, etc) there were ways to address it. Its fixable and considering his position and skill level, it was worth investing in. Schiano was more concerned with the insertion of Glennon as the undisputed quarterback and put his own agenda over the best interest of the franchise. The Glazers let a man who they would fire 13 weeks later make one of the biggest decisions in franchise history. And the Vikings were just as dumb as we are for having him throw 53 passes in a game after being there 2 weeks.

Well clearly your man crush for the guy hasnt waned at all. I'm still stunned by your defense of this kid.
There was a band of men that destroyed 2013 for the Bucs. Freeman was bass player of the group, Greg Schiano was the lead singer, Sheridan was the lead guitarist, Sullivan was a back up singer, Dominik was the 2nd guitarist, Glennon was the guy/girl that played the piano on select songs and the drummer was Davin Joseph.
