Well clearly your man crush for the guy hasnt waned at all. I'm still stunned by your defense of this kid.
Try to dispute anything I said. And name a QB that thrived under similar circumstances.
Wow Freeman might be out of the league soon. The word is out on that guy. Damn shame but he only has himself to blame.
Out of a job but the later won't be known until Aug or Sept. No idea why people keep harping on the guy. Tampa has moved on but the fans never will. :p
Because the Bucs are one of the few franchises that could have fudged this up.
We cut his sorry *ss right? How did we fudge up?
He was not given the opportunity to succeed here. Revolving door of head coaches, coordinators, position coaches. The only year he didn't have a bottom 5 defense they won 10 games and he only threw 6 INTs. And that defense was just average, #16. His peers get top 5 defenses, win 11-12 games and are labeled franchise QBs. This is proven by the team losing 17 consecutive games he didn't start and the team only going 9-7 when he had stretches of MVP caliber play. Whatever his issues were (drugs, alcohol, depression, etc) there were ways to address it. Its fixable and considering his position and skill level, it was worth investing in. Schiano was more concerned with the insertion of Glennon as the undisputed quarterback and put his own agenda over the best interest of the franchise. The Glazers let a man who they would fire 13 weeks later make one of the biggest decisions in franchise history. And the Vikings were just as dumb as we are for having him throw 53 passes in a game after being there 2 weeks.
Did you see his 53 passes? That wasn't just not knowing the offense. He couldn't hit anybody.
Your puny logic is futile against their manlove defenses.
He was not given the opportunity to succeed here.
Dear God...
It's everyone else fault that Freeman regressed in to a POS.
He was not given the opportunity to succeed here.
Java has reincarnated.

And I thought the guy that wants us to trade McCoy for whatever we could get was insane...
He was not given the opportunity to succeed here.
Dear God...
You deleted the rest of my post because it's right. The franchise is going to have its 4th coach in 7 seasons. Great environment for a young QB.

Great pointJosh Freeman = Head Coach kryptonite. Thank God Schiano fell on the sword so Lovie wouldn't have had to feel the wrath of the curse
Josh Freeman = Head Coach kryptoniteMark Dominik = Franchise kryptonite
This board = intelligent discussion kryptonite
I will be shocked if Josh Freeman is still in the NFL in two years.
I will be shocked if Josh Freeman is still in the NFL in two years.
I won't be. Teams have been trying to polish turds since forever.
I agree that Freeman didn't have a legit group to help him here, but at the same time, he didn't help himself.People are kidding themselves if they believe the coaches we had knew how to properly groom a young qb.
Benchwarmer#1: "I agree that Freeman didn't have a legit group to help him here"But Glennon did, right?
