Jesus Christ you're dumb. Defense was supposed to be their strong suit and we were at the bottom of the league. That's what I was referencing.
QBing was supposedly Freeman's strong suit and he's bottom of the league as we speak.
What's dumb is continuing to make excuses for the suckage that is Josh Freeman
I think he will be a clipboard holder for another few years. Teams will sign him to be the backup QB, with hope the light comes on for him later.

True, he's only 25.
Such a disappointment. It's amazing how much it sets back your team when you draft a qb in the first round and he ends up sucking.

I agree with this, and it's one thing that really gives me pause throwing in heavier with Glennon. Our offense never passed as poorly (when compared against the rest of the league) as it did in 2013.
What's the argument for those of you who believe Freeman was given a chance to succeed here?

He sucked.. What happened to him in Minnesota? You could say he didn't know the offense but why did that Monday night game Freeman look like our preseason and regular season Freeman when he knew our offense. How come he didn't sniff the field after that debacle?

He started FIFTY NINE games here!!!!FIFTY NINE!!!59!He had all sorts of talent around him. VJ, Doug Martin, Blount, Williams, Winslow.... high draft picks and expensive free agents on the O-Line.He was given plenty of chance to succeed.

The fact that he actually did succeed for a while.
Die thread Die.

It's obviously the Buccaneer's fault for giving Josh the starting role. If they had kept him on the bench instead of hanging him the reigns to the organization, he would have been much more successful.

Yep in 2012, you are right.
Has anyone mentioned that Freeman sucks
