We’ve hung on to Donovan for as long as we can. He had an embarrassing year and it would have been even worse if we had a QB that held on to the ball longer. I know we keep saying “well he’s not the worst,” but he’s getting close now and we need higher expectations than “he’s not the worst.”
There's a good chance he'll be a cap casualty... unless he wants to renegotiate a very team-friendly contract (doubtful).
Yeah he’s cooked; almost guarantee he is cut and replaced in the draft with first or second round pick

I’d fall out of my chair if we even got a 5th round draft pick for Donovan. But having him on another team would be a great start.
Any team that looks at his tape will know 80% of his time here he was bad.

Because of cap situation the Bucs don't have much leverage with trading players like Smith. But any draft pick for him at this point would be welcomed.
Agree with OP, he needs to go. Tired of all the holding penalties and big plays and TDs called back.
