Jadeveon Clowney Wants to Play For the Atlanta Falcons Devin Williams - Feb 22nd, 2014 at 7:49 pm David Manning-USA TODAY SportsESPN.com quoted Jadeveon Clowney today saying I wish they would trade up for me This could be good news and bad news for some, as Falcons fans have been somewhat divided when it comes to the idea of drafting Clowney. “but I hope I don’t fall to No. 6. I like Atlanta a lot. They’re pretty good. They’ve got some guys from South Carolina on the team, also. And it’s close to home” Sure having some guys you use to play with is a plus and being closer to home is great, Jadeveon’s motives seem more closely related to winning. It seems accurate to say that the Atlanta Falcons are the most likely team with a top 10 pick to face a bounce back year. The other two being the Houston Texans and the Detroit Lions. So he wants to win and believes Atlanta can do it, then hop on board and help this sinking ship turn into a champion. Yes this is just a player voicing his opinion and he did make comments about still wanting to be the first overall choice to Houston but I am not taking this lightly. Yes I am a believer in Jadeveon Clowney’s ability and him wanting to be a Falcon just makes me want him on this team even more. I am team Clowney all the way, what do you guys think? vote now Should the Falcons trade up for Clowney?Yes.............. Whatevs
In his own backyard playing with friends? Sounds fun, perhaps even comfy. Not ideal for an unmotivated man
Yeah he isn't gonna be a Buc and I'm liking him less by the day
Yeah this guy has some obvious red flags in the attitude department.
That one extra meaningless win is going to bite the Bucs in the ass. FML.

Or save them
Yeah this guy has some obvious red flags in the attitude department.
The Bucs could use a little attitude on defense.

I thought he wanted to be the first pick in the draft
I thought he wanted to be the first pick in the draft
But he wants the Falcons to mortgage their future to move up and get him.

Wouldnt put it past them, they did it once for Julio Jones

And they still won't win it all
The falcons take chances and normally stay more competitive than us (at least the last few years). We get a "high" pick, and we use it on a freaking safety.
