andrew luck was a slam dunk. but yeah, for the most part i agree with you.but its all personal bias. no one really knows what these guys were asked to do, how well they translate to the next level, whats really in their heart&head. manziel could be the same playmaker he was in college, he could be the next RGME. carr could have been held back by scheme or magnified by it. bortles could be the greatest qb ever...yet no one knew about him 6 months ago. mariota-hundly-winston look really good now because the grass is always greener.and also, how would these draftable guys have looked in a Bucs uni this past season? sure, they would have run around much more...but would it have led to wins? im not sure...but personal bias will certainly tell us.

He has been great for two years straight. His film shows he can carry his team and is clutch. He went head to head with Bridgewater and out played him. He has taken his team to a Bowl game two years in a row, won, and been named MVP both times. He's had 64 TDs and just 16 interceptions over the past two years. I can imagine someone trading up for Clowney, but only if he didn't have that foot injury. Watching his games more closely, he played all year on the bad foot and was visibly 80 to 90 percent last year. Trading up for Watkins would get someone fired. Drafting him no.7 seems like a stretch to me.
