IMO there are 5 players I'm happy if the Bucs end up with in the draft. Clowney, Watkins, Mack, Robinson, and Jake Matthews. Matthews is the least flashy of the 5, but that just might be the reason he ends up @ #7. IMUO ( not-unkowing, ubra-knowing ;) Matthews is a better prospect than any of the 3 tackles who went top 4 last year. If the Bucs could somehow get Alex Mack and Jake Matthews this offseason... O-Line is set with talented players who should only get better over the next 5 years. The type of guys who are going to make your Guards look much better, not waiting for the other way around.
Greg Robinson is a seek destroy machine, so I'm cool with that too BTW.
I like Mathews, but will he be there at #7. Probably not. But we will have to see how it all shakes out in May.
Trade down for him, no way at 7
Trade down for him, no way at 7
... So we can draft who exactly?

Ok. Good argument... So we can draft who exactly?
When I said trade down, I meant trade up :PA sign that I need to go to bed.
I don't know if we can spend a top 10 pick on a RT

It's really hard to predict. We are assuming 2 QB's go before us, although it would be interesting if 2 of the top 3 fell. I really have no idea what teams are going to think of Johny Football, although I think he'll be on the board still when we pick. I already heard Raiders fans calling on them to sign a Free Agent (Josh Freeman's name mentioned.) and draft Sammy Watkins, nothing wrong with the second part. Plus I really think the Falcons will take Mack given the opportunity, just because their defense is atrocious and he's the quickest fix (plus they have to pay Sam Baker). And Clowney aint going to be there. Robinson or Matthews have a good chance to be the choice in my underultra informed opinion.

He played RT last year because the #2 overall pick, Joeckel was at LT.
I'd love Matthews or Robinson at 7, but both might be gone.

If they are gone then Watkins, Mack, Bortles, or Bridgewater will be there. Should hopefully be able to craft a good first 2 days either way.
Picking at 7, it's really unpredictable who will be there. I'd take him over any of the QBs, for instance, but not my first choice. Yeah, if we land Alex Mack in FA, adding Matthews in the draft would greatly enhance our O'line, and make Doug Martin one happy dude, not to mention Mike Glennon... ;D. If that happens, I'd want a receiver with our #2 pick...
Right on, if the Bucs want speed some good choices there.

Why are you assuming that?Personally I expect three gone by seven, possibly four.
The only reservation I have about Matthews is the system he played in and the QB he protected. It makes it awfully difficult to evaluate an O-lineman. That's too big of a question mark to take him at 7, so I personally wouldn't do it. I wouldn't be too upset if the Bucs think he's worth the gamble. though.
