Well here we sit, FOUR YEARS LATER still needing a Franchise leader at QB.
According to Mr. JaBoo in a recent article, no COACH has had his back in the last four years here in Tampa Bay. Poor lil JaBoo...Let’s explore that comment shall we. Annnnnnnnd let’s begin, a COACH drafted you #1 OVERALL in the NFL draft (let that marinate for a minute), then as an appeasement to you after that didn’t work out your GM kept your OC COACH and made him your head COACH to help guide your growth with stability and experience. Then after that didn’t work out they have hired you yet another COACH, hopefully this third COACH in four years will be sufficient and finally have your back.
I’m betting not, unfortunately. Let’s reminisce a little of the last four years and what you have done on and off the field for us shall we...just kidding but you get the point, your win/loss record, your unwelcomed V exploration in an UBER ride (can’t believe I just typed that), boys be proud & girls sit down n b quiet, eating W’s, starting fights and fighting in NFL games (New Orleans and Dallas in the past), suspended by NFL, benched because of throwing numerous interceptions, can’t throw the deep ball, etc...so after all that research, interviews, time and money spent on your College Animal house days, you pay us back with this shit? The decision will forever go down in empathy in Tampa Bay for years to come. #whatabuclife
Now Jason Licht and ownership throws you a Hail Mary with the hiring of COACH QB whisperer, BA in your fifth year. If history is any indicator you will be looking for another COACH to have your back again next year! (How many coach’s is that again?)
Outside of ownership, Licht, OBP, family and friends, it hard to find any support of this four year run we have invested in. Why you may ask? His success is tied to their success. It’s funny how that works. Outside of his circle of trust, I don’t see/hear to many people saying how lucky we are and wish we had him as our franchise QB...that’s because their not! After your collegiate career and your last four years of your pro career (on and off the field - good and bad), you are what you are...which is bad, not even close to the return of what your COACH expected. TAMPA BAY, we are set back another 5 years or so for drafting your arse.
The ultimate blame for me goes to ownership not to you JaBoo. It’s not your fault that the NFL, is to big for you and that your inept. The fault rest ultimately to the owners hiring Licht which in turned hired you. However, if by chance for some reason and by the grace of god you help turn around this franchise by being the player and person we thought we drafting 4 years ago...no foul, hugs n kisses. Go Bucs!!!
Ps. After the inevitable...your 5th and final year of this shit, another year of ups and downs and lack luster performance, I’m all in for a new GM, stop gap QB in 2020 and get on this guys back.
