http://espn.go.com/blog/ncfnation/post/_/id/42148/jeff-tedford-talks-fresno-state-ties We all know by now that Jeff Tedford has coached David Carr at Fresno State and the link to Derek Carr , David's Brother, might give the Bucs a leg up on the competition when it comes to selecting a QB in this years coming draft. I for one will not be shocked if the Bucs indeed do pull the trigger and draft Derek Carr. As it stands right now, Manziel and Bridgewater will be long gone by pick #7. If Hundley and Bortles declare then the QB class is going to be severely top heavy this year. Add in Aaron Murray, Zach Mettenberger, AJ McCarron and Tajih Boyd and this is going to be a very interesting draft class of QB coming out this year. There is a lot of top end talent (9) this year and most will have a 1st or 2nd round grade with them. Murray and Mettenberger are both rehabbing knee injuries and will likely spend their 1st NFL season on IR. If the Bucs do like Carr then they will need to pull the trigger with the 7th overall. If not then they can take the QB they like the most in the top of the 2nd round. A lot will be determined by what the Bucs do in Free Agency at the QB position. Anyway you look at it this off season just got a whole lot more interesting than it would have been.
