The all-time leading scorer for most NFL teams is a kicker. Jerry Rice and Emmitt Smith and now Mike Evans are the rare exceptions. I think that is it? Evans overtook Gramatica yesterday.
Evans with 596 points is well behind Rice with 1100 points (roughly) and Smith just under 1,000 points, but still what a HoF career for Evans.
was good to see Evans bounce back with a 94 yard performance yesterday
We all want to see Mike continue his "Mr 1,000" stretch
Yesterday's performance has got him at 214 yards, on pace for 910 yards. He would need to average 60 yards a game from here on out to reach 1,000.
Need to leave some room for a missed game, which would mean 65 yards a game.
Falcons secondary
Saints - Olave had 87 yards and Shaheed at 83 yards.
Chiefs - Rice had 110 yards and was basically the only WR thrown too
Eagles - Smith had 76 yards
Steelers - Pickens had 85 yards
to me, at least one of our guys should have a big game
Last year
in our 29-25 win, Mike had 1 catch for 8 yards.
in our 16-13 loss, Mike had 6 catches for 82 yards with a TD
Let's hope it's closer to the game 1 performance last year!
