Before you lose your minds - hear me out. There would have to be a very specific set of circumstances for me to even entertain this idea. I'm not talking about trading up to #3 to grab him. My ideal scenario is that we stay at #9 and get Spence. But what if the top 5 picks went like this:1: Titans - Laremy Tunsil, OT, Ole Miss2: Browns - Carson Wentz, QB, NDST3: Chargers - Jalen Ramsey, DB, FSU4: Cowboys - Myles Jack, LB, UCLA5: Jaguars - Noah Spence, LD/DE, EKUI think in this case Baltimore will be holding Bosa for the highest bidder. The real surprise here would be Spence going higher, but crazier things have happened. After seeing Von Miller dominate in the Super Bowl, a team like Jacksonville might jump on Spence. Jack and Ramsey are also off the board. If Baltimore takes Bosa, we are then looking at a choice of VH3, Ronnie Stanley, Buckner/Ogbah, or Treadwell. If that was the case, and we stayed at 9 I think we're looking at Stanley. But what would it take to move up 3 spots to #6 and take Bosa? These are the closest trade up scenarios I could find that were in a similar range:In 2014, Cleveland traded from #9 to #8 and gave up their 5th rounder (145). In 2012, Jacksonville traded up from #7 to #5 and gave up their 4th rounder (101)I think because we're moving up 3 spots we're going to have to give up a 3rd rounder this year. So is Bosa worth a 1st and 3rd rounder?I think most people will say no. Plenty of people will say to trade down. But Bosa is probably the best DE in this draft and could make a huge difference for our DL. Do you roll the dice and see if Bosa makes it past #6? Then you're probably looking at SanFran maybe taking Goff, then Miami probably taking Bosa. Would you wait out #6 and see if you could trade up with SF at 7? So theres my question. How far would Bosa have to slide for you to pull the trigger and how much are you willing to give up?
