I have to chime in on this "he runs out of a perfectly clean pocket" thing. Someone who says that obviously didn't watch manziel enough to know what he's doing. This is a signature run from manziel. He often drops back and takes off out of nowhere from inside the pocket only using his peripheral vision to find a whole. It's almost like a no look pass skill that bball players do. I've only see manziel ever do this but he does it often and it's majorly effective. It totally stuns safeties and LB because he takes off thru a hole that he never totally looked at all. It's part of what makes him super hard to defend. Wen using just ur periphs to do this it's totally unorthodox and u can see what occasionally happens in the original post gif. He ran into what he thought may be an opening but turned out to be closed off.
Jff's game would probably look more like wilson's than vick's.

Starting to think the same
You guys mean hope and pray his game is the same as Wilson.
I think Manziel is a better version of Wilson. There are a hand full of QB's that "IT" and Manziel has it! We are going to be talking about Johnny Football for many years to come.
I think Manziel plays exactly like Wilson, only, if Wilson got tipsy before the game and had paper cuts all over his throwing hand.

Well, if he gets drafted by the bucs, of course. Heck, if they start glennon I may have to visit a witchdoctor.I'll hope and pray any buc qb would be as good as wilson. Kind of redundant. I'm looking at the whole body of work, and Maybe you don't agree, but I see a good qb in jff.
We all see a good QB in Manziel....a good college QB.Pro? Toss up....and Manziel playing like Wilson? The only thing they really have in common is that they are both smaller in stature and they can scramble. Thats about it.
Manziel is going to the Browns so why are we even still debating this ?? Doesn't matter if he will be good or not because we won't have a chance to draft him.

Right? It's like the Suh v.s. McCoy argument back in the day. We NEVER had the chance to draft Suh...

Battling the rediculous notion that we should trade up for him.

I would cry if we did that
and the Bucs would deserve the 5+ years of struggle that would result from making such a crucial error.

...Now I REALLY want the bucs to draft him.

This is one of the dumbest things I've ever heard. So you mean instead of delivering the ball to an open wide receiver from a clean pocket, JFF would rather run into his own lineman and cause butt fumbles because it stuns the safeties and LB's? Yep makes perfect sense.
