Josh Freeman interested in Minnesota Vikings return By Kevin Patra Around the League writer NFL.comPublished: Dec. 28, 2013 at 05:56 p.m. Josh Freeman threw 53 passes is his one game as a starter for the Minnesota Vikings and hasn't been seen on the field since. As he enters free agency, the quarterback said he wouldn't mind giving Minnesota another shot. "I definitely have interest in coming back, for sure," Freeman said, per the St. Paul Pioneer Press. "It's a great organization, a great team." Freeman's season has been one of the more bizarre NFL stories. After a tumultuous start to his season with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Freeman was waived Oct. 7. He signed a one-year contract with the Vikings that paid him $2 million, per the Pioneer Press. Freeman then started against the New York Giants on Oct. 21. He went 20-of-53 passing and suffered a concussion. He's been on the sideline since that game. Freeman said he's been told why he's been shelved, but he wouldn't divulge the reason. "It's a conversation between me and the coaches," Freeman said. Whether the 25-year-old will remain in Minnesota likely depends on if coach Leslie Frazier and the rest of his staff are retained. NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport reported earlier this month chances were "grim" Frazier would return. Rapoport said general manager Rick Spielman would return. It will be an interesting offseason in Minnesota and Freeman's future is just a small portion of the fun
They won't say because it's about drugs.
Ya, that is great and all, but are the Vikings interested in a Josh Freeman return? They will be picking early, and most likely snag a QB.
Where are all those posters that were claiming he was going to be the biggest FA of 2014?

But... But... He broke some worthless Tampa franchise records that were previously held by guys like Intercepterverde, Dilfer & Williams.Plus what about 2010, HE'S GREAT I TELL YOU, GREAT!!!!!!!

Williams is the only worth a damn QB. The quicker Freeman is forgotten about the better. At this point, he is just an excuse for Dominik/Schiano to stay on next year.
I guess he could say, "This organizations sucks worse than Tampa and it's cold as f^€£ up in here. No way I'd come back." ::)
He will be lucky to have any kind of NFL employment next year and he probably is starting to realize that.

Yea, there really is no interest for a 6'6, 26 year old QB with 80 career touchdowns. He only had 11 offers in October.

Was he wearing heels when you measured him?
Free $$$$$$$$$$$. 0000 responsibility. Why wouldn't he want to come back there?

He's busy making up fantasy trade scenario involving Revis. And Freeman would be interested in coming back to Tampa if they gave him money. He might be starting to see the writing on the wall.
Good luck to freeman gettin back into the good graces of NFL front offices everywhere. After planting a story and conniving his way outta tampa, best be sure he's on the top of the FA black list. His agent will probably have to beg for a one year deal to go in and compete somewhere, gluck with that!
Josh Freeman interesting in earning $2m for doing nothing. Guess what Josh, so am I.
If Josh Freeman gets a job after 5 postseasonless seasons and a cancerous implosion, Tim Tebow needs to sue the NFL for collusion. And Josh isn't talented. So sick of hearing that. He's got a decent arm and that is his only skill. He's not mobile, he's not accurate, he can't process information quickly.
