Mike Glennon led the NFL in air passing yards percentage at 64.5% Which also ranked him dead last in YAC percentage at 35.5% Vincent Jackson was our highest ranked WR in YAC. He ranked 53rd in the NFL. Who was the 2nd ranked on our team? Brian Leonard at 150th. Tim Wright came in at 155th. Our 2nd WR was Underwood at 197th. We ranked 32nd in YAC as a team. We ranked 6th in YATC. Yards At The Catch can give an indication of how far on average the team throws the ball to receivers as it only considers the yards gained from the pass and not any additional yards gained by the receiver. So this says two things. We need WR's that can make plays with their feet and our scheme last year limited YAC. Unless you have a hall of fame QB no QB was going to thrive in the offense last year. We NEED playmakers or no matter who the QB is this offense is going to fail. As you can see based on a couple of these stats there was not a lot more Glennon could have done.

Because it takes an expert to observe a team doing that watching all 22? Sure dude... Everybody knows Sullivan was bad...
Stats are for losers.So when Vjax is wide open 40 yards down the field and Glennon chucks it up there and under throws the ball and Vjax catches it but gets hit immediately that means Glennon is good and Vjax sucks at YAC. Maybe if Glennon could hit him in stride on the long throws you would not have that stat.#endthreadgoaway

"VJax" and "wide open" are polar opposites.
Slot WR, third down RB, and another TE are musts along with two OL added.Martin was way too winded to be a three down back this past season which is why you need a fast third down back with fresh legs in. Bucs need a slot WR that has wheels that can take a slant 20+ yards. VJax did some slot work with hitch's and go's, but most teams caught onto it by the mid-season. Bucs had some success with Underwood running go routes or skinny posts on the outside, so the Bucs need not only a slot WR but also a split end that can fly. And another TE that can attack the seem like Wright would be nice too.This isn't a Glennon problem as this was a problem with Freeman. Schiano discarded too much talent (eg. Briscoe, Parker, Stroughter) and replaced it with garbage (Olgetree). Dom being content with Olgetree and Stocker was a big mistake because even when healthy these two are mediocre.
