Even stating that there is an undeniable target on his back is implying that he was at some point unfairly penalized during the season...which is not the case. He was deserving of what came to him in 2013, and probably deserved more.
Other players got away with hitting people in the same hit zone. He did not. You are wrong.
Goldson is NOT being unfairly picked on. He is not getting the benefit of the doubt on any questionable calls, whereas someone else might. But he is not getting penalized for things that shouldn't be penalties, and he IS getting exactly what he asked for. They aren't giving him that benefit because he is blatant and deliberate about doing what he does.
Its not about just the hits "in the same zone". What you are failing to grasp is that its just as much about how it looks to the refs. Goldson attacks differently than a lot of safeties...and does so more regularly. He flies in recklessly with his head down. His style results in more blatant and more violent shots to the head area. That is going to draw more penalties on a more regular basis. So no, guys are not getting away with what Goldson is doing, and Goldson is the only one getting penalized. Keep speculating and playing the Goldson is a victim card tho. Maybe we can start a charity to get back the money the league has bullied away from Goldson...#batteredgoldsonfund
People think the refs are officiating without bias. LOL.
While we are creating strawmen....People think Goldson is innocent. LOL.
Hey look....a funny George Bush photo!
People think Goldson is innocent. LOL.
Innocent? Who said anything about him being innocent?

Why did you leave out the first sentence in that post? Do you not know what a strawman is and why I would have said that?
Do you know what bias means and why the refs use it?
The difference between the two is simple. 70% of the time Goldson does it, it really is deserving of a penalty. So the rest of the time he draws a flag on what are really clean and hard hits are a result of the bad ones. Sadly you reap what you sew.
To keep that train of thought going...I can't believe the refs called Goldson for headbutting a Dolphins player without a helmet on, after the play was over in the MNF matchup. So unfair how he is being bullied by the league when every other safety headbutts opposing players who arent wearing helmets.
Wasn't a headbutt.
Don't get me wrong, Goldson deserved many of the flags/fines. I was referring to one hit just like the one Chancellor delivered last night. The helmet hit the neck area. I'm not sure which game it was. I just remember saying it was a horrible call as many others hit the same way with no flag. McCoy also got a bad call the game here in Tampa when he hit Brees right as Brees turned to run. I saw another player make the same hit a few weeks ago with no call.
Yep. A few but not all. I think only a few strawmen don't quite understand OP.
Since we're already straying far from Kam's hit.....Did anyone else see his interview post game w/ Stacey Dales? I love that chick. She was so fucking fired up (or coked up), I thought she was going to Sherman the other end of the interview.
