Question: What do you do when your QB with an injured hand and missing pro-bowl WRs who then throws pick 6s in the first two throws?
Answer: Keep on chucking!
Ian Beckles was talking about it. Why are you blaming Jameis? He is what he is. Much of this is on the coaches. Despite all the above issues, there were 50 passing plays called, and they weren't little dump offs. There were no adjustments to the game plan. Winston is doing what Winston does, and there seems to be no adaptation by the coaches to the reality of the situation.
So "What to do with Jameis" is the wrong question to ask. Winston is going to be here in 2020. He's going to be great at times and he's going to be terrible at times. Jameis is Jameis. You aren't going to fix him. The real question that should be asked of the coaching staff is what are they going to do with this offense to take that into account?
Or are you just going to keep on chucking?
