Just to add a little more intrigue to the Cousins talk.... http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2013/12/13/cousins-gets-to-face-three-falcons-rookies-in-secondary/ Cousins gets to face three Falcons rookies in secondaryPosted by Darin Gantt on December 13, 2013, 9:19 AM ESTScott Chandler,William Moore,Thomas DeCoudAPMike Shanahan’s evil genius plan to prop up Redskins quarterback Kirk Cousins got a boost, as the Falcons are going to try to defend him with a bunch of rookies.According to D. Orlando Ledbetter of the Atlanta Journal Constitution, Falcons safety Thomas DeCoud is out this week. He’ll be replaced by rookie Zeke Motta, a seventh-round pick from Notre Dame. The Falcons recently replaced veteran corner Asante Samuel with Robert Alford, meaning Cousins will get to begin his stint as the Redskins starter against three rookies in a secondary that hasn’t distinguished itself in any way this year.If it works, Shanahan can take credit for another mastermind move.
Someone is moving the goalposts.
Of course he is. Griffin had already been injured when the board simpleton made that post. Hell, I even referenced that injury in that quote. Simpy's will be simpy's.
Griffen blew out his ACL on January 6th . That post was made on December 23rd . http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap1000000123065/article/rg3-suffers-knee-injury-in-washington-redskins-loss So guess what ? You are either a complete dumb ass or a bold faced liar. Which is , Slugger ?? LOL
Crickets . What's wrong simpleton , still looking at the calendar and scratching your head ?? LMAO......what a moron......
Hey moron, have you learned to spell horizon or define guarantee yet?
So much for debating the topic....

Sorry Bubba, it's just kinda fun seeing Dolorous squirm. But yeah. Kirk has his chance to show the league his talent and I think he has a good chance to start somewhere in 2014.. Even if bad D's inflate his numbers.
But it would be arguable if rg could beat those bad defenses. If cousins beats those teams, i'm pretty sure it will be rg's head on the chopping block.Of course, everything Is debatable on a team that has given up.
Buggsy and Lord Beavis with nothing to say about whether a minor knee sprain effects the off-season the same as an ACL tear in January. Refuse to admit that maybe that might change things , lol.The butthurt is strong , I get it , but some people would like to post on topic instead of listen to these idiotic reaches.Try again when you actually have something simpletons.

Who and who? Are you hallucinating again? Maybe this is why you have trouble spelling 5th grade words.
Giving up on the idiotic RGIII angle and moving on to typos now ??Good work Beavis! You're getting better at this thread derailment thing. A little more practice and you can be as petty and useless as the Slugger.
I think this is more of an attempt to showcase Cousins in hopes of trading him in the off season. The cost of RG3 was high and there are lots of holes to fill.
Was thinking the same thing. It was the right move. Get their franchise guy healthy, showcase their backup for a possible trade. They dont get their 1st round pick so doesnt really matter how many they win/lose from here on out. Probably should have done it a couple weeks back.
If this is Shanahan's decision, which I believe it is, why on Earth would he care about the future of the team who's going to fire him as a Christmas present?

Who is Beavis? You should've stopped having imaginary friends years ago.And ragging on you for guaranteeing, or "garanteeing" that Cousins would be traded almost 365 days ago, is totally justified. Do you know what a guarantee is? It's different from "I think".

And, again, the 'lil slugger was warned that RGIII was an injury risk - and that's why Cousins wouldn't be traded. But Simpletons will be simpletons.
Dolorous, if you can just have an ounce of humility and admit you were wrong about it, I'll drop it.
I'm not wrong Beavis . You are. Opinions change as circumstances change. I said as soon as he blew out his knee they weren't going to have Cousins on the block any longer. End of story ....and lol at you thinking I care it you drop it or not. I could not care less how long you bang the drum on this losing argument. Knock yourself out , moron.
DJ, sorry, but Cousins was absolutely not on the block ever last year or this year. He just wasn't.
I didn't say he was this season or during last season Booker. I thought they would deal him in the offseason before the acl tear , and I still believe they would have.If he plays well these last 3 games look for them to cash in this offseason.Disclaimer for dumb and dumber ( Beavis and Buggsy ): if RGIII tears his ACL walking to the soda machine I reserve the right to change my mind again.
