Per Greg Auman of the St. Pete Times, the Bucs have hired Brett Maxie, Maxie spent 13 years in the league as a player and 16 years as a coach. Maxie will reunite with Alterraun Verner, whom Maxie coached from 2012-2013 during his stint as the Titans defensive backs coach. Maxie will carry the title of defensive backs coach, while recently hire John Hoke has the title of secondary coach.
