At this point, including the preseason, the offense is absolutely humming. We just witnessed (arguably) one of the greatest QB performances in franchise history.
Koetter can now focus on the defense, its scheme, and Smitty's game planning. The players obviously love playing for Dirk, but I'd hate to see him get canned for loyalty to a horrible defensive coordinator that happens to be his buddy.
The defense under Smitty is teetering on "Lovie Bad" territory.
Dirk needs to get it through to Mike, that if he can't fix it, then he'll be fixed.
