... for raiding others' practice squads to get players. That's not something he typically does a lot of, but desperate times need desperate measures. Players may or may not work out, but he's trying to scour the league for guys who can help us and he doesn't hesitate to send them straight to the active roster if they are needed.
Yea desperate times is true. Also we're trying to win a championship. Windows are only really open for so long. Can't let injuries hold you back. Find a guy who can do the job. That rule is there for a reason and it's to help teams that are banged up find a guy to play. Only so much roster size and all. But those guys are given that flexibility to find playing time too. Otherwise the team is just able to keep them but that could limit playing time for some. Climbing the depth chart is not easy in this league I'd say.
