And that QB is Winston! And my reasoning for this is the fact that Mariota had ample opportunities to take over the game and put Ohio State away. I kept waiting for Mariota to take over the game. But that never happened. I kept waiting for mariota to take chances with the football. But that never happened! Now i know a lot of that is system based and the plays that were called, however i felt like even down 14pts in the 4th he was content with taking the "safe" play. I truly believe that if that were FSU and Jameis Winston he would have taken those chances to help lead his team to a national championship!While i want my qb to make smart decisions, there comes a time where being conservative and taking the check down becomes more detrimental to your offense than it is beneficial! And i believe Jamies understands that and has that natural instinct in him along with the ability to trust his arm and know he can make the throws when his team needs him most!With that said, how do you feel after this game and why?
