Louis Nix would be great. I'd probably take Sammy Watkins in that situation though.
Colossally stupid pick! DT is far from a need and I'm not sure I would take another player who has knee issues. I think DT is one of the last positions I would pick with the 1st rounder.
DT is one of our strongest positions- I just don't see how we spend a first on it with so many good players on the board at need positions.
Better rope off the Skyway Bridge if this happens. Dominik will officially become Matt Millen.Millen liked WRs and Dominik likes DL. Unfortunately this strategy of not drafting any OL while simultaneously drafting every DL possible is killing us.Unless this guy can play OG at the highest level, I don't want anything at all to do with him.
Yea no DT please. I'd go with Lewan, Watkins, or (dare I say it) Manziel.
Another DT, LOL ......Jesus Christ give me a break....If all those edge rushers go before we pick , the pick has to be Watkins.
DT, WTF? Seriously even if you aren't sold on Spence spending a high R1 on a guy to play NT is epically stupid it would be like drafting a non-coverage S really high......
Apparently these guys who write this crap dont look at what the team has before giving them a pick. Unless they have some inside information on us switching to the 3-4...smh.ANY other position would be better than DT.

I agree
If Schiano is still here don't expect him to take Barr or Mack even if available. He didn't want to resign Bennett because he wasn't as big as he likes his DEs and MB is 6'4" 270.
Unless the team is planning on switching to a 3-4 ... no. Just, no.

On the other hand, he seems to be pretty ok with the idea of the team generating pressure from their linebackers. I'm not *entirely* thrilled about the idea of the team generating its pressure from the SSLB spot (Miller is kind of the exception rather than the rule), but who knows.
this almost never happens, but I think we're all in agreement that this pick is crap. No way we go DT, none.I don't see Jax passing over a QB with their first pick either. They need one as bad as anyone.
I keep seeing people projecting him to us and I'm tired of it. I like Spence and personally, as much as a Suh-Fairley caliber combo would be nice in the middle it's nowhere near a big enough need to pass on so many other players who would be available that would actually fill a need.
