I have to say (as I’ve said many times), that this is an exposing embarrassment for the incoherent, truly pathetic Annual Awards when it comes to Off-Ball LBs.

Mixing Edge players and Off-Ball LBs has always been a ridiculous embarrassment. Lawrence Taylor and Derrick Brooks did not play the same position in the NFL.

Lavonte has just made the All Decade team and should have a treasure trove of hardware which would put his resume squarely in the HoF conversation. As is, the voters are going to look at his resume and scoff...despite making the All Decade Team (which is always FILLED with HoFers).

What an embarrassment to the credibility of NFL annual awards.
