I still think the impetus for this change came out of the throwback game being cancelled because Bruce didn't work on the pewter helmet.

I doubt this is legit...but it's still cool. Someone tried to pass this off as the new logo. I still think it's just going to be a slight tweak to the current logo. Maybe they will remove the football and and some hints of orange to the skull and sabers. Anyway...just thought I'd share.

I saw where they were trying to change them prior to 2013. Maybe the approval process bounced them out? This is a tough one to figure. I know that they need to wait 5 years after a change before they'll be considered for another one. They've said it's a helmet change with enhanced logo... minor change (maybe) to uniforms. Colors aren't supposed to be changing. We've seen enhanced logos before that haven't been much... streamlined fish, angry bird seahawk, pussified panther, bolded tadpoles, etc...
