Perfect system, accountability and leadership for him up there. And that offensive line played a tad better than the one down here. Personally I liked Blount, a decent locker room guy. But there were other issues the guy had here. And Schiano didn't make the call 100 percent by himself and it was done with the owners agreeing.
Regardless of who's at fault, it was a TERRIBLE decision.

C'mon Doc, he was the 31st pick, not a top 10 guy. Look at the bright side, the Bucs could have traded up and gotten Trent Richardson lol. And I wouldn't say Martin was inconsistent, he did have almost 2,000 total yards. Plus even the biggest Blount fan would have to say he was/is one-dimensional. He had a whopping two receptions in 16 games this season this year, and that was with a coaching staff who "knows" how to use him.

people have very selective memories. many of the same people who bemoan trading Young, were the same ones who hated him as QB for the Bucs. I remember a ton of folks at the time seriously advocating making Young a RB. Very few at the time thought the Bucs were making a mistake by trading him away.
