We have good enough RB's to win, because well, running backs. Who the hell cares. Everyone is going bonkers over LGB but how good was he when he was here? Frankly, I'd rather have Ridley off the Pats than LGB.
Blount was and is an amazing talent and great runner. He was in college. He was here in Tampa. He is now in New England. The problem was that despite given every opportunity to excel, he couldn't learn the play book, he couldn't learn to reliably catch the ball, he couldn't learn to protect the ball, and he couldn't figure out how to pass protect. He also had to have the coaches send a wake service to his house to ensure he made it to practice on time every day. He is basically a big dumb country boy that can run like a freight train. Obviously, the Patriots are showing that there is a role for him and he can still be a great asset despite his faults. They used him sparingly all year behind more well rounded backs in Ridley and Vereen, and now late in year, in the playoffs, when defenses are worn down and injured and the weather is not ideal.....he is destroying teams with a fresh legged Blount. Could we have done the same? Maybe. But after Blount was the #1 here and demoted because of Martin, it probably wasn't going to work out well. We'll never know because we didn't try. In the end, we have a great backfield full of studs and depth. Our backfield is probably the best and deepest it has been in over a decade. So who really cares what the Patriots are doing? I say cheer Blount on as an Ex-Buc and move on.

We have 3 guys on IR and Rainey, we don't have any "studs" in the backfield.
Whether we could have used him or not is moot. Point is, Schiano dismisses talent because he is a clown...and Dom let it thin the ranks out. Those guys would have made the Bucs a better team. And need I mention K2? He would have been a dependable tight end for Glennon. Thickened up the ranks a built...

Let's not get outta hand, now!!

Blount's only playing because Ridley can't hang on to the damn ball.

I was going to mention this. Ironic isn't it?Best coach knows how to coach best.
Wasn't that one of the knocks on LGB....that he couldn't hang on to the ball?

ShhhhhHe's perfect now that he's not here.

Ridley is a better overall RB than Blount. He just has fumbling issues which he needs to fix

K2 would've been dependable right up to the point where he would've been suspended for substance abuse. 2011 Bucs quit. K2 was a big part of that culture and had to go. A different environment for him probably worked in the favor of both teams. Again, hindsight.
Hindsight. And you are guilty of presumption Hatseed

Excellent insight, as usual. You would fit in better on a wrasslin forum, bro. K2 is a cancer. Wouldn't label Blount or Talib that necessarily but I'm not backing off that label for Soulja.
