This is an interesting battle for me going into training camp. With the seperation in lovies regime from nickelbacks from outside cornerbacks this is a premium position in our scheme. So my question is does anyone think Leonard Johnson can steal this spot away from dj Moore? I know Leonard isnt very popular on these boards but I think he may well fit this scheme better then schianos. With lovie running a lot of zone Leonard has the speed and instincts to compete. Lj seems to be a good zone corner hes not very good in man to man because of his limited size but reading the quarterback and jumping routes seems to suit his game. I know dj Moore has the upper hand as of this point because of his previous time with lovie, Sort of like the Josh mccown effect on offense. He knows him previously knows what kind of worker he is. So does anyone think that Leonard can win this spot ? Or do ppl think Leonard a spot starter for us these last two years,will be a preseason cut and not make the final 53?
